Stockholm 2025 Conference

NOBU Stockholm 2025

Dear friends and members,

Welcome to the annual NOBU Conference and Business Meeting in Stockholm, Sweden, which will take place on October 9–10, 2025. The conference will be hosted by Konserthuset Stockholm, the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Swedish Opera, and the Cavalry Band of the Swedish Life Guards. The majority of the conference will be held at Konserthuset Stockholm.

The official conference program begins on Thursday morning. However, if you find yourself in Stockholm on Wednesday afternoon, you are welcome to attend the Changing of the Guards at the Royal Palace. Please contact Des Ward for details.

The conference fee is 1300 NOK and will be paid via invoice after the registration period ends. The fee includes a banquet dinner on Friday evening. The deadline to register for the conference is September 5, 2025. Please ensure that your organisation’s billing and contact information is up to date in the member directory before registration.

A new feature this year is the option to pay via digital invoice. To receive a digital invoice, include your organisation number when registering for the conference. Please note that it is no longer possible to pay the conference fee via PayPal.

On Thursday evening, there will be three concert options to choose from: we offer free tickets for the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic’s concert as well as discounted tickets for both Aida at the Royal Opera and the concert with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra.

We have secured a 10% discount at Scandic Haymarket. Use the code PRO10SE when completing your booking on Scandic’s webpage to receive the discount.
We have also special rates at Miss Clara (8.–9.10. Small single: SEK 1850, Small double: SEK 1950, Standard double: SEK 2090, 10.10-11.10. Both discounts are valid as long as rooms are available for the conference dates.

There are many hotels in the area, and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact Ida Johansson or Ilta Sipilä at Konserthuset Stockholm.

On Saturday, October 11, after the official conference program, there will be a free guided tour of The Theatre King exhibition at the Royal Armoury. Be sure to sign up for the tour when completing your conference registration.

We look forward to seeing you in Stockholm!
